Big Time Rush started as a television series on Nickelodeon created by Scott Fellows.  It stars Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson and Carlos Pena as four Minnesota hockey players who are selected to form a boy band and it follows their hilarious adventures in everyone's dream environment - Hollywood.  The official debut episode aired in January 2010 and it was Nickelodeon's highest-rated live series debut ever.  Big Time Rush has lasted 2 season on Nickelodeon and a 3rd season started taping back in January 2012.
