2010 Tigers at a Glance

The Detroit Tigers finished the 2010 season with a balanced record of 81 and 81, but a lopsided showing depending on where they played. At home, the Tigers fared pretty well, with 52 wins and only 29 losses. On the road, it was an entirely different ballgame, with the Tigers losing 52 and winning 29. The team ERA was 4.30 and the team batting average was a respectable .268. Miguel Cabrera remains a bright spot in Detroit, posting a .328 batting average along with 38 home runs and 126 RBI. From the mound, Justin Verlander posted 18 wins.
Comerica Park
Comerica Park has been home to the Detroit Tigers since 2000.  Comerica Park was half government funded and half private funded, which must mean that half of the place runs really well and the other half is bloated and slothful.  Just kidding.  Comerica Park seats 41,782 Detroit Tigers fans!
