2010 Pittsburgh Pirates

What can you say about a team that posted a record of 57 wins and 105 losses? If the Pirates had done the opposite of everything that they did in 2010, would they have finished 105 and 57? Their “winning percentage” of .352 was . . . not very good. Even worse, they were 17-64 on the road. I scoured the statistics to find an area in which the Pirates lead the league in 2010, and the only such area is losses and losing percentage.
PNC Park
The Pittsburgh Pirates play their home games at PNC Park, one of the fresh and charming new stadiums constructed at the beginning of the new century.  PNC Park is a charming home with approximately 38,496 seats.  The playing surface is grass and the ballpark has a Camden Yards feel.

Prior to moving into PNC Park in 2000, the Pirates played ball at three other stadiums: Three Rivers Stadium (1970 to 2000), Forbes Field (1909 to 1970) and Exposition Park (1891 to 1915).
