2010 Texas Rangers

The Rangers lost a tough 4-game World Series to the surging San Francisco Giants, but the World Series appearance signifies the emergence of the Rangers as a relevant team in the American League. Nolan Ryan has big plans for his Rangers, most of which center around Josh Hamilton, who lead the AL in hitting in 2010 (.359), and Valdimir Guerrero, who finished third in the AL with 115 RBI. Neftali Feliz anchored a strong bullpen with 40 saves. The Rangers finished the 2010 season with a division leading record of 90-72.
Rangers Ballpark at Arlington
Rangers Ballpark at Arlington was built in 1994 to the tune of $181 Million.  The Ballpark at Arlington, as it is called, seats 49,115 Texans, some of whom may wear cowboy hats and many of whom are still mad at Alex Rodriguez for some reason.
Random Fact
The Texas Rangers can insert their name into the MLB Record Book because one of their players has the longest last name in the history of baseball, with 14 letters: Jarrod Saltalamacchia.
